Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The program of Christian Initiation for Adults begins forming its new class on Tuesday, August 26th at 7 pm. Saint Matthew’s Parish invites all adults into the class who are interested in being received into the Catholic faith. This class is for all those who,

1. have not been baptized, or
2. have been baptized in another Christian denomination and who want to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church, or
3. have been baptized in the Catholic Church but have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The course presents the fundamental principles of the Catholic faith within the nurturing environment of our Catholic community. Those who elect to do so will be prepared to receive the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil in April 2026.

The classes are scheduled in the Rectory lower-level meeting room (644 1st Ave. W) every Tuesday from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. If you, or someone else you know are interested in this program, please inquire with Deacon Charlie Harball at 406-752-6788 or email harball@stmattsaints.org.
