Introducing Teresa Chabot

Teresa Chabot is a Catholic lay Spiritual Director for women.

Theresa brings extensive experience to her role, having served as a Spiritual Director in the Regnum Christi Movement for more than 20 years, and she has recently completed additional training through Spiritual Direction Certification at Divine Mercy University. In addition to offering spiritual direction, Teresa has taught workshops and courses in praying with scripture, spiritual discernment, and the means to live human virtue. Teresa is committed to helping women grow both in self-knowledge and in their understanding of their identity in Jesus Christ through a deeper experience in their personal prayer life. This experience leads women to ultimate freedom and peace.

Teresa strongly believes that Spiritual Direction is both a journey and a conversation between three persons: the one seeking guidance, the one assisting with the guidance, and the Holy Spirit, who is ultimately the one directing the soul. As a lay Spiritual Director, she sees this triune relationship as one that is sacred and that she is privileged to watch unfold.

Teresa’s ministries are endorsed by Bishop Vetter and are under the guidance and coordination of Fr. Stanislaw Rog, Parish Administrator of St. Matthew and Risen Christ Parishes.
