Staffing Updates

  • The attached document is a list of our tentative teacher assignments. (Online)
  • One of the newly hired teachers had to decline our offer due to unforeseen circumstances, we wish Ms. Cady McClurg the best of luck in all future endeavors.

Curriculum Updates

We will be using McGraw Hill Science in grades 6 – 8. The curriculum will cover physical, life, and biological sciences appropriate to each level as the topics allow for deeper understanding and comprehension as students’ progress through 6th grade, 7th grade and onto 8th grade. This allows students to be prepared for the sciences offered at the high school level.

Additionally, I am very excited to officially announce that St. Matthew’s will be implementing Theology of the Body curriculum this school year. All faculty and staff will be trained in this life changing curriculum designed to “transform the way every young man and woman understands their body and soul, masculinity and femininity, vocation in this life, and destiny in the next life.” Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus for their continued commitment to St. Matthew’s School and for allowing us to implement this amazing curriculum.

Thank you

...for trusting St. Matt’s with your child(ren)’s faith formation and academic progress. We appreciate each of you! St. Matthew’s best and most economical marketing tool is YOU! Please share these updates with your friends and family to

encourage enrollment at St. Matthew’s, I appreciate it! We are doing GREAT things and your children will be the direct recipients of our efforts.
